I
am writing to inform of the great
success and step forward our business
Murray Rural Services, which operates a
LANDMARK Agency in Pinjarra selling
rural, merchandise and hardware, has had
with the installation and implementation
of Pacsoft’s OPTEMIZER program.
I
first heard of Optemizer when it was
written and recommended by Peter Cox in
the Rural Business Magazine. I contacted
Pacsoft and Andy organized a visit to
give a presentation on the program and
to survey our existing hardware. This
was followed with a proposal with new
hardware required and costings. On
receiving this, my first thoughts were
no way, the COST was way over the top.
After a fair amount of discussion and
agonizing we decided to go ahead with
the INVESTMENT realizing we were making
a large investment into a industry
dedicated software package where we
could grow our business and not out grow
another software program.
A
big DECISION a big INVESTMENT and a big
STEP FORWARD.
A
date for the change over was organised
and Pacsoft sent two people over, Phil
Mathieson and Ann Truman. The change
over went like clock work with Phil
installing new hardware and on the
second day we went live on Optemizer
with some help and very methodical
training by Ann.
We
cannot speak highly enough of the
professionalism and the ease at the way
it all came together, with no major
hiccups. To date we have not had any
problems we could not fix ourselves or
with the help from Pacsoft.
I
think the margin management, quoting,
daily sales reports, and stock control
features make it a very powerful
business tool. The POS side is very
quick and efficient and we found the
staff not really up to speed with
computers finding their way around the
POS with ease.
The
INVESTMENT we made in Optemizer has been
very worthwhile and added great value to
our business.
